Army and Navy Surplus Store
Disappointed customer
“My purchase on Aug 22, 2021 was very positive. Return of one of my purchases was appalling. I entered the store on Sept. 10, 2021 to return a purchase that had never been worn, tags intact. I was greeted by 3 negative employees for one transaction. The clerk behind the counter said or yelled across the store that she had never done a return. Another woman came up to say that I could go back and find what I wanted to exchange. The older woman stood up in the middle of the store and yelled “you need a receipt!”. I had a receipt but it wasn’t the one she wanted, very unprofessional and demeaning. So I go home for the other receipt and return to complete my task. I entered the store to the woman at the counter yell across the store “Oops”. I said “Oops? So you thought I wouldn’t be back.” The older women came up processed the transaction with complete sarcasm and I left feeling disrespected and appalled at their treatment of an honest customer. My experience is not going to make or break you but I won’t be back in. I’ve spent a lot of money between the two stores there over decades and that won’t happen again. These people need serious customer service training.” -
